Typical Club Policies
These are some of the typical club policies. They will vary from club to club, but this will give you an idea as to what to expect.
- No means no. Any pressure or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated.
- Always ask permission. Any non-consensual activity will not be tolerated.
- No excessive drinking. Nobody wants a tanked pervert groping everyone.
- No illicit drug use. It's illegal to begin with, and leads to other problems.
- For off-premise clubs, no illegal sexual activity. Feeling somebody up on the dance floor is usually okay. Performing fellatio at the bar is not.
- Don't dress like a slob. Most clubs have some form of a dress code. A ripped t-shirt and track pants isn't going to cut it.
- Cameras, camcorders, cell phones with cameras, and just about any other recording device is strictly prohibited. If in doubt, leave it at home.
- What happens at the club, stays at the club. Respect other's privacy.
- You must be 19 years of age or older to be admitted.
