Dress Code

Every swing club has it's own dress code. Use this as a guideline as to what to expect.

  • Wear something comfortable. A thong two-sizes too small is not going to make for a pleasant evening.
  • Your clothes reflect your personality. Muddy running shoes and ripped jeans say that you don't care.
  • Off-premise clubs typically promote theme nights. Naughty school girls, lingerie, and roman togas are just some examples. The more you participate in a theme, the better. Nobody shows up to a Halloween party in their work clothes (well, unless they are a policeman, construction worker, biker, cowboy, or soldier).
  • On-premise clubs don't tend to have dress in theme nights, but rather expect a clean, respectable appearance. You're going to be losing your clothes by the end of the night anyway.
  • Feel free to take along something more comfortable to slip into as the party goes on. It's okay to show up in a cocktail dress, and switch to a nightie at midnight.
  • Always check with your club as to what they expect.
  • Not adhering to dress code may cause the club to refuse admission.
